This morning, we were lucky enough to try a sampling of some of the current menu items from Dunkin’ Donuts. We all gravitated towards the cheerful pink heart-shaped creme-filled gems with the familiar aroma remembered from our childhoods.

A feast for our eyes

And they didn’t disappoint. There’s also a new chocolate cream-filled heart-shaped donut that drew a lot of attention. Surprisingly, we were VERY impressed with the multigrain bagels. Studded with sunflower seeds, flax and millet, they still have the satisfying chewy texture that’s essential in a NY bagel (and 8 grams of fiber). Just add a shmear of the supplied reduced-fat cream cheese and a cuppa Dunkin’ joe. Rise and SHINE!
